What type of paper do you print on?

We now offer two great paper options to choose from!

Photo-style Paper:

Our photo cards are printed on professional-quality paper that guarantees vivid color reproduction, brilliant whites and fade-free images. With a Lustre finish that combines the fingerprint and glare resistance of Matte with the high color saturation of Glossy, PhotoAffections photo cards offer print quality that is truly unparalleled.

Cardstock:

PhotoAffections' rich and luxurious 13pt premium cardstock paper is manufactured with 100% recycled materials in plants operated by Green e-certified wind power. Available in Glossy finish (great for rich colors and sharpness) or a Matte finish (fingerprint resistant and perfect for both color and black & white photos). Our 13pt double-thick cardstock will give you picture-perfect invitations, announcements and photo cards every time.

How do I use promo codes or voucher offers?

It's easy – just use either one promo code or one voucher per transaction. Sorry but discount offers cannot be combined. However, if you forget to enter your code during checkout, just contact us and we'll add any valid code to your order and credit you the difference. Please note - unless otherwise stated on our site, a promo code discount replaces any site wide discount. Sale amounts aren't additive.

Online Preview Tool - Helpful Tips

Our versatile Online Preview tool is incredibly useful in rendering accurate previews. Please double check the placement and spelling of all photos and text on your card. As you're reviewing your order, it will be easier on you and most helpful to us if you'd keep the following in mind while you're using the tool:

  1. To edit the text, simply click on any text area in Step 1.
  2. Text won't fit right? Not to worry! Just leave us a note in Step 2.
  3. Noticed a mistake in Step 2? Not to worry! Just leave us a note in Step 2.
  4. For help click the links at the top of the Online Preview window.

Why choose a Digital Proof? If you've made special requests or you just want to be absolutely certain that your text and photos appear exactly as you created them, you have the option to order a free Digital Proof. In most cases, however, the final proof will look the same as what was created in the Online Preview Tool. Proofs are available for Arte Bella products by written, order-note request. A proof of the front view will be provided. We do not provide 3D proofing of photo blocks.

Online Preview Tool - Computer Requirements

To use our Preview Tool, you just need to browse our site with a recent version of Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari with Adobe Flash player enabled.

The Preview Tool is intended for broadband internet connections and requires no software downloads. If you experience technical issues, please double check which browser version you're using, and feel free to contact us if you experience any issues.

Can I make changes to the designs?

We can absolutely make changes to card and magnet orders! Special requests are our specialty. Feel free to request design color alterations - pointing us to another design which has the color(s) you prefer. Simply note your preference in the "Talk to our Designers" section in Step 2 of the Online Preview tool and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Also, you may add any text you wish, such as Bible verses, poems, vacation locations, and, of course, names. Our text placement is only limited by space; however, we can also place text in or on the actual photo itself, in addition to the traditional space at the end of the card. Please make these requests in Step 2 of the Online Preview tool or in the Special Instructions box during checkout.

Due to the unique nature of the Arte Bella product line, design customization requests cannot be accommodated and proofs are unavailable at this time.

Can you convert my color photo to Black & White?

Absolutely! In fact, if you wish to convert your color photo to Black and White or Sepia tone, we're happy to and actually prefer to do it for you. We use a special process and will work with your image(s) to create a quality, high-contrast image - free of charge!

For orders placed with our Online Preview Tool please note, unfortunately, that any color conversions you perform while in the tool won't match the final outcome. The online editing tool is really best for basic preview purposes only. Instead, and assuming you submit quality images, we'll work with all your images individually to get the best result.

How do I place a reorder?

Our minimum order quantity is 5. We keep your finished card on file 60 days from when the order was placed.

To place your reorder:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click the "My Order" icon.
  3. Select the "re-order" button.
  4. Fill out the short form and submit.

We'll print and ship your re-order within 2-3 business days. Reorders placed after 7 PM Central time require an additional day to process.

How do I get my photo(s) to you?

For orders placed using the Online Preview Tool, your images will be automatically submitted with your order. So you don't need to resubmit them.

For orders outside of the Preview Tool, for the quickest response times please have your images ready when you place your order. You'll have the opportunity to upload your images immediately after checkout. If you're not ready to upload your files at checkout, simply return to the upload page at a later time by logging in to your account.

How do you protect my credit card information when ordering?

Good question! When you place an order at PhotoAffections.com, the sensitive data you transmit is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. This technology creates a secure connection between you and our server; as a result, your information will not be captured by those who may wish to spy on you.

Furthermore, PhotoAffections.com uses our own 256-bit SSL Certificate provided to us by Verisign. This is important to note because some companies use a "shared SSL certificate" which is shared by other users and hosted on a different server. When you make a purchase with us, you'll notice that the URL always begins with our domain name, and you never leave our site.

What do you mean by "Free Touch Ups?"

With every order, we first adjust your original image to the best of our ability and wherever possible. Additionally, with all orders of 75 cards or more, at your request and at our discretion, we'll also correct minor scratches and minor skin blemishes such as acne. Depending upon the location and in most cases, we can also remove date stamps. We'll do our best, but please know that our ability to make these corrections is not guaranteed. You may request these edits on Step 2 of the Preview Tool or in the special instructions during checkout.

Please note, that extensive editing, (i.e., removing/moving people, removing large objects, eliminating or changing backgrounds) is beyond the scope of our services.

How quickly will my cards be printed and shipped?

Once your order is placed, your custom cards will be printed and shipped within 2-3 business days. Please note that the choice of a free custom proof may affect your order ship time. For more details please see our full shipping schedule.

"Do you have a Christmas deadline?"

For timely production and delivery we suggest ordering Photo Christmas Cards by December 10th. For orders placed after this date we recommend expedited or overnight shipping.

How much text can I fit on my card?

This varies; each greeting card or announcement can accommodate different amounts of text according to the design. When you're considering a card, look at the sample text used in that particular card. As you'll see in several designs, we can place text on top of your image, but this may also be limited depending on your photo. For instance, if there's a lot of sky or water, inserting text wouldn't be a problem.

While it's best not to get carried away with lots of text, honestly the worst that could happen is that there's simply too much to fit. In this case, we'll design your card using our best judgment, but you can always request changes to the text or text placement when you view your proof.

Due to the unique nature of the Arte Bella product line, design customization requests cannot be accommodated.

I would like to crop or edit my picture; what do I do?

You can freely crop, zoom and rotate your images in our completely "live" environment. These edits are automatically saved as part of your order.

It's very important that all the digital images you send be at the highest resolution possible so that cropping produces good results.

How many envelopes will I receive with my order?

We always include extra envelopes with your order. Typically, you'll receive one extra envelope for every 25 cards ordered.

Do your greeting cards require extra postage?

No. Our cards are 5x7 in size and require just standard postage.

Can I place an order by phone?

At this time we are unable to accept greeting card orders by phone.

Can I use professional images for my cards?

We can accept professional images for creating your order. However, if the photo is copyright protected, we must receive permission from the photographer to print. Please email the copyright release to our customer care center as an attachment. Our email address can be found in your order confirmation message.

What is an Arte Bella Photo Block?

Arte Bella photo blocks are unique pieces of wall décor that consist of professional grade photographic prints attached to a solid wood background and smaller "floating" blocks, which are arranged as a 3D collage. Each photo block is then finished with a professional laminate to ensure extra protection and shine.

What is the difference between Single Photo Blocks and Floating Photo Blocks?

The Single Photo Block is a single professional print adhered to a solid wood construction and then finished with a laminate to ensure beauty and longevity. A Floating Photo Block is a series of smaller print blocks constructed over an individual photo block to give the appearance that they are floating over a large image background.

Yes! You can add photos and/or some text, depending on the product design you choose. However, we are not able to accommodate changes to the underlying design templates.

We accept JPEG images that can be uploaded from your computer, as well as from Instagram, Facebook, Picasa and Flickr accounts.
